Millions of people across the world love football. I love football, do you?
The 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil has been one of the electrifying tournaments in the history of football, don't you think?
I am one of the greatest football fans across the world and was very excited to watch countries taking on each other in the football field. Thousands of people including myself and surely you were too, using social media platforms to express how you felt about the tournament and matches played.
You and I used and are still using social media, right? Meaning we are citizen journalists contributing towards the reputation of the FIFA World Cup. Public Relations contributes a lot towards the reputation of the World cup because it somehow builds a strong positive perception about. We must remember that as PR people we hold the most valuable asset in campaigns or organisations.
Many countries were in the Fifa World Cup qualification. I had faith in one or two countries to win the tournament and I'm sure you did too! We relate to football as it brings countries together and experience joy through it.
